Ryburgh, Norfolk), Samuel (son, 7, scholar, born Blickling) and William J (son, 7 months, born Blickling). 1881 census: in Moorgate, Blickling, Norfolk (all DANIELS), Samuel (head, married, 50, ag lab, born Blickling), Martha (wife, married, 47, born Ryburgh, Norfolk), Samuel (son, 17, ag lab, born Blickling) and William (son, 10, scholar, born Blickling). 1891 census: at 55 Moorgate, Blickling, Norfolk (all DANIELS), Samuel (head, married, 62, farmer, born Blickling), Martha (wife, married, 59, born Gt. Ryburgh, Norfolk), William J (son, 20, tailor, born Blickling), Samuel H (son, married, 27, ag lab, born Blickling), Eliza A (daughter in law, 22, born Erpingham, Norfolk) and Edward J (grandson, 5 months, born Blickling). 1901 census: at 55 Moorgate, Blickling, Norfolk (all DANIELS), Samuel (head, married, 72, retired agricultural labourer, born Blickling), Martha (wife, married, 68, born Gt. Ryburgh, Norfolk), William J (son, single, 29, tailor, born Blickling) and Edward J (grandson [Samuel H's son], 10, born Blickling). On the same page, at 58 Moorgate, was William's brother Samuel H (head, married, 37, agricultural labourer, born Blickling), Eliza A (wife, 32, born Erpingham, Norfolk) and 4 young children. 1911 census: at 55 Moorgate, Blickling, Aylsham, Norfolk (3 rooms), form signed Samuel Daniels. Samuel DANIELS (head, 82, widower, woodman (old age pensioner, born Blickling, Norfolk), Elizabeth DANIELS (sons wife) (daughter in law, 40, married 6 years, 2 children both alive*, born Boyton, Suffolk) and William DANIELS (son, 40, married, tailor, born Blickling, Norfolk). * I can't find these children in the 1911 census. And I can't find Catherine's birth registration. 1921 census (found by Janet Tidman): (all DANIELS), at 57 Moorgate, Blickling, Aylsham, Norfolk, William (head, 50 years 10 months, married, born Blickling, Norfolk, tailor on own account and allotment holder), Elizabeth (wife, 51 years 5 months, married, born Boyton, Suffolk. house duties), Catherine (daughter, 14 years 10 months, born Ipswich, Suffolk, domestic servant at a private employer) and Ethel (daughter, 13 years 3 months, born Walton, Suffolk, whole time school). 1939 Register (found by Janet Tidman - findmypast has transcribed the entry for William (Willy J on the original) as Nelly, a female). At 57 Moorgate, Blickling, Aylsham, Norfolk: DANIELS, Willy J born 15 Aug 1870, married, tailor DANIELS, Elizabeth born 16 Jan 1870, married, unpaid domestic duties Janet comments: "There are other Daniels living at numbers 58 and 60, presumably related to him. I have also found that when his birth was registered, his name was entered as Willy James in Aylsham RD but when he was christened in Blickling on 11th September 1870, his name was inscribed as William James in the church register."
