Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, August 4, at Southerland Funeral Chapel. Entombment in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Minter was a native of Chauncey, a member of Eastman First United Methodist Church, an honor graduate and valedictorian of Chauncey High School, a graduate of Georgia State College for Women, with a Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics and Elementary Education, and a 6th grade teacher for the Dodge County School System for over 15 years. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, and crafting. Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Ola Stewart Kelly and Ralph B. Kelly, widow of Carlisle Minter, and was preceded in death by a Sister, Jane Herring and two Brothers, Robert Kelly and Alfred Kelly.
