    • URIE, Robert Rees "Uncle Bob" 70 years, born May 15, 1935 on Lincoln Rd., Windsor, where he resided all his life. Passed away on October 15, 2005 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Western Campus with friends and family by his side. Beloved son of the late Albert (1984) and Blodwen (1947) Urie. Dear brother of the late Rowland (1942), the late Joyce Miller (2005) and Olive Guindon and husband Thomas of Riverside, California. Proud Uncle of Larry and wife Phyllis, Guindon and son David of Michigan, Lorraine and husband Rene Grivel, Russell and wife Elsa Guindon, Lisa Guindon and friend Christopher Miller, Eric and wife Katrina and daughter Kelsey, all of California. Beloved owner of the late Momma Cat (2005). Robert attended King George Public School, Walkerville Collegiate and Bulmer Business School in his youth. He retired from the City of Windsor, Parks & Recreation Dept. in 1993 after 32 plus years of service. He also enjoyed his many years of participation with the Scouts and being a Sunday School Teacher (1956-1960) at All Saints Church. Robert made a great many friends over the years which gave him many joyful memories. Robert, "Uncle Bob", "Bobaloo", "Skip" and "Santa" will missed by his family, many great friends, honorary nieces and nephews, scouts, former co-workers, the 8 am group at All Saints and neighbours around Lincoln Rd. and Holiday Harbour Resort in Wheatley. Cremation has taken place with the ashes to be placed in the All Saints Church Memorial Garden. A Memorial Service will take place at All Saints Church on Monday, October 24, 2005 at 11 am. with Archdeacon William T. Gray officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the All Saints Anglican Church Memorial Fund, 330 City Hall Square, Windsor, ON N9A 1J3 and/or The Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Morris Sutton Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 254-8633
