      May 2016: Anne Wigle-Occhipinti (a descendant) writes:
"Ada and Bill immigrated to Canada shortly after the war. Other family members (like Frank and Bill Downey, Ada's brothers) had already come across...and so they all sort of supported each other...and stayed in the same home until they got their footing. I will ask my mom to remind me regarding who came over first...and who stayed with who and get back with you on that. William worked at Champion Sparkplug in Windsor, Ont. Canada...and also farmed the land and built a small home with his own hands. Ada was so dear - shy, prim, proper, kind, ....and a worrier! She died at ...99. I loved her so. She made amazing mince pies and raisin tarts."
      also:
Ada and William's daughter Barbara is my mother. She is 87 and doing well in Ohio. Mom's siblings Kenny and Joan have both died. Joan lived to be in her 90's. Kenny had a heart attack in his late 70's. When he was young he served as a tail gunner with the Royal AF- back in the day!"

November 2017: some more information from Anne Wigle-Occhipinti:
"My Grandfather William Bevington served for England in WWI as a dog trainer (dogs carried messages behind enemy lines). His son, Kenneth, served in the RAF in WWII as a tailgunner...and survived the war. Kennneth and his wife Nessie had 2 children - Wendy and William. Joan (the first daughter) married a Davis, and had 3 children, Sherri, Denny, and Debbie. Barbara (their other daugher and my mom) married John Wigle and had 3 children - Janis (now Wigle-Zimmerman), Anne (Wigle-Occhipinti), and John Wigle III.

My father's people (John Wigle) are also from England on his maternal side - the Stodgell's of Somerset. Emma and John Stodgell emigrated to Canada and operated a confectionary on Riverside Drive in Windsor, Ontario Canada. They had 3 children, who were my Great Uncle Charles (Chix), my Great Uncle Simeon, and Camilla (my grandmother who married John Wigle I and had 2 children - John II, and Elizabeth/Betty)."
