February 2009: email from Martin Pearson in Worthing: I am just emailing to let you know that I have a connection with Reg Minter . He was married to my fathers mums sister (my great aunt) Jessie (nee Barlex) and I knew him as a child. After he died, Jessie gave me his war medals, although they don't have ribbons now, and also a few other items when I was younger. It was great to see the old Army pic of him as we have very few if any - he was a Driver in the RA in WW1. Although he and Jessie never had kids, he was a Cub Scout leader in Ilford.
