| Notes |
- 1881 census: George, 19, was an ordinary seaman on Royal Navy ship 'Philomel'.
1891 census: George, 27, was back home with his parents.
I think George was probably the George WHEWAY who married in Q3 1894, Louisa WRIGHT. They appeared in the 1901 census together but in the 1911 census Louisa appears to be with George's mother, and I haven't found George - perhaps he was at sea again.
1901 census: at 29 Clissold Street, All Saints, Birmingham (both MINTER, born Birmingham), George (head, 37, factory labourer) and Louisa (wife, 39).
1911 census: at 1/129 Prescott Street, Birmingham (4 rooms) (both MINTER, born Birmingham), Louisa (head, 52, married 16 years, no children, retired) and Maria (mother in law, 76, widow, 8 children 4 still living, retired).
