  Notes	1861 census: in Green Lanes, Feckenham, Worcestershire: George STANTON (12, born Hanbury, Worcs) was a carter boy, ie servant, in the household of a farmer, William PALMER. 1871 census (posibly refers to George): George STANTON (20, railway engine fireman, born Hanbury [Worcs.]) was boarding at 343 Kentish Town Road, St Pancras, London. 1881 census: at 3 Bentley Street, Milton in Gravesend, Kent (all STANTON), George (head, 30, fireman (marine), born Kew, Surrey), Elizabeth (wife, 25, born Gravesend), George T (son, 8, scholar, born Gravesend) and Alfred C (son,, 5, scholar, born Gravesend). Also Sarah JOHNSON (mother in law, 56, charwoman, born Shearing, Herts). See Notes for Elizabeth CASHFIELD for discussion about her mother Sarah. The birth places given for George and his mother in law are both problematic. I haven't found George's death but his wife/widow Elizabeth married Charles William JOHNSON in Q4 1890.
