  Notes	The name on Owen's birth certificate is Owen Minter GOUGH. Born at 46 Binfield Road, Clapham Road, Stockwell, London. No father's name; mother Edther Florence Gough, an actress of 24 Lord Nelson Street, Nottingham. Birth registered by mother on 4 December 1925. Owen's marriage certificate shows his name as "Owen Gough Minter formerly known as Owen Minter Gough". The name on his death certificate is Owen Gough Minter. Appeared in the 1947 Electoral Roll in Muswell Hill with mother, Ethel Florence Minter. There's a record in the South African Archives for Owen Gough with the reference 8253/72, surviving spouse Jennie Frances. 1972 is taken to be the year Owen died. Frances Lack writes that Owen " die very young, about 40, I believe of a heart attack". In May 2021, Owen's daughter Rosemary told me that Owen died on 4 August 1972, having suffered a fatal heart attack. He died at Kosmos, a village in the North West Province of South Africa. It is situated on the banks of the Hartbeespoort Dam.
