Emmeline's death was reported in The Times (London, England), Tuesday, Aug 23, 1910; pg. 1; Issue 39358. "On the 18th Aug., at Newington*, near Folkestone, EMMELINE, the beloved wife of the late JOHN MINTER." A newspaper cutting from the Folkestone Public Library collection reported on 27 August 1910: "Funeral of wife of late Mr John Minter" - Emmeline Minter, died 18 August 1910, age 73. Among mourners were sons Dr Leonard Minter and Herbert Minter. Mrs Minter was buried with her husband at the Cemetery at Newington. *The burial record gives Peene House, Newington.
