  Notes	Copied from findagrave.com: James Rufus "J.R." Hunnicutt August 12, 1933 - January 15, 2021 Macon, Georgia - James Rufus Hunnicutt, 87, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Long officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa FL 33607. James was born in Toomsboro, Georgia to the late Early Curtis and Lena McCrary Hunnicutt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Hunnicutt. James served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a retired as a Sales Manager from WDEN and WIBB radio stations and was a member of First Evangelical Church. He was a Mason and Shriner and a member of the Moose Club. He is survived by his sons, Randy Hunnicutt and Ricky Hunnicutt, grandchildren, Rachael Hunnicutt and Will Flanders, sister, Kathy Kersey (Phillip), several nieces and nephews. Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of the arrangements.
