| Notes |
- Harriet appears in the 1861 census as the granddaughter of Robert Minter and in 1871 as his daughter (sic), aged 19, a tailoress. On both occasions she was shown with the surname Minter. There's little doubt that she was the illegitimate daughter of Robert's step-daughter.
In 1881 Harriet, 29, tailoress, lived with her husband Josph and his 2 children aged 14 and 13.
In 1891 Harriet (39) was with her husband (47, labourer in stockmills) in Kirby Road, Trowse with Newton, Norfolk. They had a lodger Herbert Ed. HAWES (22, railway porter, born Bungay, Suffolk).
