      1861 census: at Bere Farm, St Margarets at Cliffe, Kent, Gilbee (46, farmer of 246 acres employing 8 men & 2 boys), Ann (32), Gilbee (9), William (7), 1 house servants and 4 farm servants.

      1871 census: at Bere Farm, St Margarets at Cliffe, Kent, Gillbee (55, farmer of 380 acres employing 16(?) men & 3 boys), Ann (42), Gillbee (19), William (17), 1domestic servants and 2 farm servants.
      Not pursued any further until:

      Gillbee's Will was probated at London on 6 August 1892. His effects were valued at £31, inherited by widow Ann.

      Also announced in the Times (Monday, Apr 08, 1850; pg. 9; Issue 20457):
      "On the 3d inst., at Folkestone, Kent, by the Rev. Richard Baldock, rector of Kingsnorth, Mr Gillbee Eastes, of Guston-court, near Dover, to Ann, eldest daughter of Mr. Bartholomew Miner, of Folkestone."
