  Notes	From findagrave.com, Feb 2015: Mike Minter Carl Mikle Minter (Mike) was born to Paul and Helen Purcell Minter on July 15, 1937 in Pickton, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Pat, Price, Bobby, and Jack. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kimmons Minter his children Shannon and family Robin and Alia of Washington, D.C., and Mikeanne and family Robin and Alia of Portland, Oregon; his siblings and their families Paula and Jimmy Raynes, Patsy and Ron Ramshay, Chuck Minter, sister and brother-in-law, Kay Minter Tomlin and Dennis, double niece Jenny Minter Anthony and double nephew Charley Minter, and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends as well as beloved pets, Gomez and Puff. Mike enjoyed a successful career with Rockwell International, McEvoy, Dearborn Brass, and American Brands. He loved retiring to the Pickton Community where he was actively involved in the Pickton United Methodist Church, and served as president of the water board, cemetery association, community center and mens investment club. He especially enjoyed having coffee with his friends. He valued the strong friendships that he built over the years. Friends and family are invited to share memories of Mike and visit with the family between 4pm and 6pm at the Pickton United Methodist Church on Thursday, July 16. A graveside service will be held at the New Pickton Cemetery at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pickton United Methodist Church or to the Pickton Community Center.
