      "DIED,
      At his residence in Jasper county, Georgia, on the 29th ult. Mr. RICHARD MINTER, in the 47th year of his age. The deceased was a native of Chatham county, N. C. but has resided for the last twenty odd years, in Jasper county, and has been for a great many years an acceptable member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He was much respected by his neighbors and acquaintances; and was an industrious, honest and worthy citizen. He has left a wife and a large family of children to mourn his loss; to them irreparable.
