  Notes	I haven't been able to find Harriet in the 1861 or 1871 censuses but she was a witness at her brother Henry's 1879 marriage. On the same day as her brother's son George Henry DOWNEY was baptised, 11 April 1880, at the same church, All Saints, Kensington, a Harry Charles Duffell DOWNEY was baptised. His mother is shown as Harriet DOWNEY of 8 Convent Gardens, the same address as Henry & his wife Fanny. However, Harriet didn't appear with her brother on the 1881 census. Harriet married John POLLEY in Q3 1883 and appeared with him, and son Henry Charles in the 1891 census: at 11 Cornwall Street, Fulham, London, John POLLEY (head, 53, labourer at church cemetery, born Oxon), Harriet POLLEY (wife, 40, born Suffolk), George J POLLEY (son, 6, scholar, born Fulham), William E POLLEY (son, 4, born Fulham) and Henry C DOWNEY (stepson, 11, scholar, born Notting Hill). John and Harriet appeared in Fulham in the 1901 and Harriet, by then a widow, the 1911 censuses but without Henry Charles. I haven't managed to discover what became of him.
