  Notes	1901 census: Mary, aged 19, shown as Mary Minter married, was probably boarding with Reuben and Rosina Jones and their family at Bunkers Hall Farm, Elham, Kent. Mary had with her an un-named son (surname Minter), aged 1 - probably Eric, who was registered at Elham in Q2 1901 as Eric Minter (John Minter almost certainly being the father). 1911 census (1): in the Elham Union Workhouse, Etchinghill, Lyminge, Kent, Mary (inmate, 29, married 11 years, 4 children all living, domestic servant, born Stowting, Kent) and (on a diferent page, so there's no positive proof they were her children), Wilfred (inmate, 8, born Stowing, Kent) and Laurence (inmate, 6, born Stowing, Kent) 1911 census (2): in Cottage Homes (Elham Board of Guardians), Cheriton, Kent, Eric (10, school, born Stowting, Kent) and Norah (5, school, born Stowting, Kent). The fact that Mary said she'd had 4 children and that they were all living suggests that, although they were in two different Institutions, Eric, Norah (Leonora Mary), Wilfred and Laurence, were all four Mary's children. But what about George - he died in 1901 so perhaps Mary didn't think to mention him?
