  Notes	BIOGRAPHY: Joseph Morgan MINTER served with the confederacy during the Civil War from 1862 to 1865, assigned to Company K, 9th Legion, Texas Cavalry. His post-war Pension was # 17846. findagrave.com has: Joseph was the 4th child born to Pappy and Sarah Minter. He was 14 yrs. old when the family moved from Georgia to Texas. He served in the Civil War from 1861-1865. Joesph and his wife , Ada, would eventually have 10 children. They farmed south of Bethel, Texas, which was a few miles from Pine Forest.
