  Notes	1841 census: not found despite searching all of Rainham, Kent. 1851 census: Edward, 25, was a lodger in Rainham Street, Rainham. The birth of an unnamed male was registered in Q2 1860 at Milton RD (2a/574) and his death the same quarter at Milton (2a/402). The enhanced GRO birth index gives the mother's maiden name as KITCHINGHAM. 1861 census: in Rainham, Edward (34, ag lab, born Bridge, Kent), 'Anqulnia' (29), Ann KITCHINGHAM (daughter, 11, scholar), Alfred KITCHINGHAM (son-in-law, 9, scholar), Hannah Minter (daughter, 6, scholar), Thomas Minter (son, 4) and Walter (son, 2). Ann KITCHINGHAM was Angelina's illegitimate daughter - in 1851 in Rainham Street, Rainham, were Samuel KITCHINGHAM (68, born Rainham), his wife Ann KITCHINGHAM (68, born Gillingham, Kent), their granddaughter Angelina KITCHINGHAM (21, unmarried, needlewoman, born Rainham) and Ann KITCHINGHAM (1, daughter - illegitimate). It seem very likely that Alfred KITCHINGHAM was also Angelina's illegitimate child (possibly the Alfred KITCHINGHAM registered at Milton in Q2 1851 no. 5/421). Ann KITCHINGHAM (as Ann KITCHENHAM, 51), reappeared in 1901, aged 51, unmarried, a coffee house assistant living with Walter E Minter (qv). 1871 census: in Quay Lane Cottages, Rainham, Edward (46, ag lab, born Rainham), Angelina (40), Thomas (14, labourer), Walter E (12, labourer), Emma (8, scholar), Angelina (6, scholar) and Minnie (4, scholar). 1881 census: in Otterham Lane, Rainham, Edward (57, general labourer, born Bridge), Angelina (51), Walter E (22, plate layer, (railway), Angelina (16) and Minnie (14, scholar). 1891 census: now widowed, Angelina was living with her son Walter E (qv). 1901 census: not found.
