- George enlisted into the RAMC on 30 November 1914, aged 22, a porter, address 10 East Cliff, Folkestone, Kent.
Her was killed in action as BEF member in France on 17 May 1918. His effects (which are listed) were sent to his brother, F J Minter, 27 Black Bull Rd, Folkestone.
CWGC Registers 1914 - 18 has the following entry in the Franvillers Communal Cemetery; Franvillers Communal Cemetery Extension section:
