- On 31 May 1827, Walter and Thomas Hewitt were up before the Old Bailey, accused of stealing 96 lbs of lead worth 15 shillings from the roof of Elizabeth Humbert's house on 18 April. Both men were transported for 7 years.
I haven't found any trace of Walter subsquently.
