  Notes	Rosemary Henschell says that Thomas was christened Fred Thomas but changed to Thomas Frederick as an adult. In relation to daughter Maureen's birth in Scotland, Rosemary comments: "Thomas F. Minter was an executive for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. The company sent him to Scotland during the 1950's." Also from Rosemary: "[Thomas and Mary] separated and later divorced in the late 70's, early 80's. Thomas remarried (no children) Thomas and Mary had four children, 1 boy and 3 girls." And: "Akron Beacon Journal (OH)-May 14, 2007 Thomas F. Minter Thomas F. Minter, 88, of Jupiter, Florida and Akron, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 12. Born in Akron, Ohio, Thomas has been a resident of Florida for the last fifteen years. Thomas served his country in the Army during World War ll. Before his retirement, he worked as an executive vice president for Goodyear Tire and Rubber company for 40 years in Akron, Ohio. Thomas is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mary Lou; son, Thomas (Linda) of Okemos, Mich.; stepson, James A. Slagle lll (Isabelle) of Palm beach Gardens, Fla.; daughters, Becky Reilly of Hartford, Conn, Ellen Currier (Tim) of Troy, Mich., and Maureen Hamlin (Jim) of Brighton, Mich.; sister, Betty King of Leesburg, Fla.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Monroe, Mich. A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 15, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Tequesta. Funeral arrangements will be under the direction of Aycock Funeral Home.
