October 2013: an article about Henry Minter appeared in the Autumn 2013 edition of the Westgate-on-Sea Heritage Centre Newsletter. It can be accessed via Minter Exchange website. The author, Dr Dawn Crouch, wrote in an email to Sally Whitworth:
did you know that the house on the Adrian Sqaure side of 1 & 2 Station Road which we featured this time is called Minter House? It is a new build on a very derelict site and when it was being built Terence Painter asked me for a suggestion of a suitable name and I came up with the Minters as it was right nest door to Westgate's first shop and William was at first at No 11 and then at 21. It has the name up and is really a very nice house!"
