  Notes	A record at ancestry.com, Canadian Passenger Lists, 1865-1935 shows that Eric, 25, left Liverpool on the "Duchess of Richmond" on 28 June 1935 bound for Canada. The record indicates that Eric had been in Windsor Ontario from 1924 to 1935 - this tallies with another record showing that Eric, brother Richard and their mother left for Canada on 9 May 1924. Beloved husband for over 63 years of Isabel DOWNEY, who passed away three weeks previously. Loving father of Reverend Richard DOWNEY and his wife Mary, and John DOWNEY and his wife Joelle. Loving grandfather of Arwen, Aimée and Kenneth. Private family arrangements. Interment at Shelburne Cemetery. A life well lived. ,
