  Notes	Henry's birth does not appear to have been registered. Henry was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment at Winchester Assizes on 1 March 1858. He had been found guilty of "Misdemeanour (carnally knowing a girl under 10 years)". He was released from Winchester gaol on 31 August 1859. Henry was a cabin boy on board a ship trading from Ramsgate. 1861 census: not found A mariner of King Street, Ramsgate in 1865. 1871 census: Henry William must have died some time before the 1871 census was done: his widow Mary, 27, a dressmaker, was living at 84 Hardres Street, Ramsgate with her mother Sarah WOODWARD (46, fisherman's wife born Deal, Kent) and a number of individuals described as daughters and sons of Sarah WOODWARD: Harriett PAY (unmarried, 23, domestic servant, born Ramsgate), Sarah WOODWARD (16, domestic servant, born Ramsgate), Thomas WOODWARD (13, basket maker, born Ramsgate), Henry WOODWARD (11, scholar, born Ramsgate), Edward WOODWARD (9, scholar, born Ramsgate), Elizabeth WOODWARD (6, scholar, born Ramsgate) and Martin MINTER (Mary's son, 7, scholar, born Ramsgate) and Sarah WOODWARD's granddaughter Rosetta PAY (1, born Minster, Kent).
