  Notes	Living in one of three houses at Puddledock, Margate at the time of their sale in 1777. The sale was advertised in the Kentish Gazette Wed 5 to Sat 8 Mar, Sat 8 to Wed 12 Mar and Wed 12 to Sat 15 Mar 1777: (Advertisement) "To be sold to the highest bidder. On Saturday the 15th March instant at Mr. Bloxhams, the sign of the George in Margate about six o'clock in the evening. All these three messuages or tenaments with the ground and appurtenances to them respectively belong- ing situate and together adjoining and being in Margate aforesaid at or near a certain place there called Puddledock and now in the several occupations of John Ayers, John Stranack and George Minter. Enquire of Mr. Small, Attorney of Margate." Owner occupier of house at Margate 1790. Witness at St Johns Thanet on 5 December 1790. Buried at age 49. Administration of estate granted to son Henry on 30 March 1812 at Canterbury Archdeaconry Court. The following was extracted by Cliff Minter form the Act Books of Canterbury Archdeaconry Court 1795 - 1813, folio 207v: "On the 30th day of March 1812. Admin of the goods &c of George Minter late of Margate in the Archry of Cantry dec'd was granted to Henry Minter the son and one of the next of kin of the dec'd he being first sworn duly to admin. and Hannah the widow and relict dying since the dec'd without taking letters of Administration &c."
