He was 40 years old, a bachelor gown manufacturer's agent of 119 Highbury New Park, Islington, London and his father was Israel Mintz, a general merchant. Phillip's bride was 23 year-old Norah Leishman, a spinster shorthand typist for the Red Cross Society, of 51 Heathland Road, Stoke Newington, London, father Jacob Leishman, fur and skin merchant.
