      JESSIE R. KIVEL, 79, resident of Pearland, Texas went home to be with the LORD on December 10, 2008. She was a native Houstonian and 1947 Austin High School graduate. She retired from E. L. Lester and Company with 27 years of service as the executive secretary to the president. She was an active member of Living Stones Church in Alvin, Texas. Her husband, Harry R. Kivel and son, Ronald B. Stephens, preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Rick Stephens and wife Susan; former daughter-in-law, Pam Bradshaw and husband Bryan; brother, George Minter of Farmington, NM and sister, Evelyn Morrow and husband Don of Brigham City, UT. Granddaughters, Dena Tennison and husband Ken; Christie Romero and husband Travis and grandson Austin Stephens. Great- grandchildren, Hannah, Lauren, Rachel and Matthew Tennison and Brayden Romero. Memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Forest Park East Funeral Home located at 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster Texas 281-332-3111.
