    • From the Evening Chronicle (Newcastle-upon-Tyne), 13 April 2011:
      (Blyth). In hospital on 10th April 2011, aged 80 years, Vic, beloved husband of the late Mary, much loved dad of Helen, dearest granda of Darren, Laura, Danielle and Paul, loving great granda of Thomas and Maddison and also dear friend of Edna. Vic will be greatly missed by all family and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at Cowpen Crematorium on Tuesday 19th April at 10.00am. Family flowers only by request, donations in lieu if desired to the Freeman Hospital Heart Unit. All enquiries to Cooperative Funeralcare, Blyth. Tel. (01670) 352880.
