      Went to Australia according to John J Minter, September 2007. This is confirmed by the following, taken from the National Archives of Australia:
      MINTER Sydney George born 31 July 1935; travelled on the 'Fairsky' departing Southampton on 15 December 1960 under the Assisted Passage Migration Scheme.
      John J Minter adds that Sydney's future wife Shirley Rose CHAMBERLAIN was on the same boat.

      "Redvers' marriage to Myra Hauber was at The Salem Chapel, George Street, Wakefield. He was shown as a Coal Hewer and his father William James a Corporation Labourer - out in the open air, after years down a pit. Probably why he had a long life.
      Myra was a worsted spinner whose father John Hauber was a deceased Journeyman Tailor.
      Witnesses included Redvers' siblings Alice Minter and Charles Minter.
