  Notes	Listed in Kellys Directory of the Isle of Thanet 1914 - 15 and 1915 - 16 as Alfred Minter, 4 Fairfield Road, North Side, Minster, Kent. Went to school at Bishopsbourne. Gained fourth place as ploughman's mate with father at ploughing match in 1900. Worked as a waggoner at Eden Hall Farm, Minster and in 1913 for Page & Sons at Minster, living at Union Hill, Minster. Lived at 4 Fairfield Road, Minster in 1915 and at San Sebastian, Westwood in 1920. Worked for Baxters at Sarre and lived at Chalk Pit Cottages, Sarre in 1923-25 before moving to work for fifteen years at Lenhall Farm, Bishopsbourne whilst living at Crows Camp Cottages, Bishopsbourne.
