Ada died, only 33, in 1913 and William re-married in 1914.
William served as a Private, number 3/10289 in the 1st battalion, Suffolk Regiment. He was presumed dead after the second battle of Ypres, not having been seen since 8 May 1915. He is remembered on Panel 21 of the Menin Gate Memorial at Ypres, Belgium. Source: www.cwgc.org.
