      Frederick was detained in hospital shortly before he died, where he suffered a painful illness.

      "As well as researching my family history, I also have an interest in buying and researching medals. A few years ago I bought a group of three police medals named to PC. F. Minter of the Metropolitan Police (Y Division - Highgate). These were issued for the 1897 Jubilee, the 1902 Coronation and the 1911 Coronation respectively."
