    • Has been researching family since 1948 according to Jean Marsh (17th August, 2001). Most of the information about the Kent Minters has been assembled by Cliff in the years since then.

      Sadly passed away on 11th September aged 88. Cliff will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
      Funeral service to take place on Monday 7th October 1.20pm at Barham Crematorium.
      Family flowers only, but donations if desired, may be made to Parkinson's UK c/o John Kemp Funeral Directors, 17, St Dunstan's Street, Canterbury CT2 8AF.

      I put the following on Minter Exchange shortly after Cliff's death:
      "Clifford Frederick Minter died on 11th September aged 88. Cliff was enormously influential in the creation of this website, having already devoted some 50 years to research into the Minter name. Cliff's original family trees for branches of the Kent Minters were hand-drawn on sheets of paper about a metre in depth and several metres in length. All those who knew Cliff will be sorry to hear of his passing."
