  Notes	The 1841 census entry for Richard, aged 50, of independent means, living apparently alone in High Street, Folkestone, probably relates. Listings in: - 1852 Post Office Directory of Kent (Kelly's) as Richard Minter Esq, High Street, Folkestone. - History, Gazetteer & Directory of the County of Kent (S Bagshaw), 1847 as John Richard Minter, gent. of High Street, Folkestone. - the South East Coast Directory (J Williams), 1849 as Richard Minter Esq. of High Street, Folkestone. Richard's death was announced in the Kentish Gazette Tuesday 29 January 1850: "Death: MINTER Jan. 16, at Folkestone, Richard Minter Esq., age 63." Monumental Inscription: "Richard Minter Esq. Died 16 Jan 1850, age 62" Richard may have spent some time in Holland. A Richard Minter aged 25, born about 1786 in Folkestone, lived in Brouwershaven in 1811, having been there since 1803.
