- Comment by John J Minter, November 2018: "Thomas was baptised twice, on 3rd Jun, 1805, at Wakefield St. John, and on his first wedding day - 12th October, 1829, at Rothwell Holy Trinity. "
John also adds "Thomas was a Market Gardner and so was [his son] Amos - indeed oral history tells me that Amos had some land North of Wakefield and the family home was also a shop."
