  Notes	Comment by John J Minter, November 2018: "Thomas was baptised twice, on 3rd Jun, 1805, at Wakefield St. John, and on his first wedding day - 12th October, 1829, at Rothwell Holy Trinity. " John also adds "Thomas was a Market Gardner and so was [his son] Amos - indeed oral history tells me that Amos had some land North of Wakefield and the family home was also a shop." 1841 census: in Lingwell Gate, Stanley, Wakefield, Yorkshire (all BRAMLEY, all born in Yorkshire), Thomas (35, gardener), Mary (35), Ellenor (10), Henry (8), Joseph (6), Nancy (3) and Amos (1). 1851 census: in Lingwell Gate, Stanley cum Wrenthorpe, Yorkshire (all BRAMLEY, all born in Wakefield, Yorkshire), Thomas (head, 47, gardener - master employing one labourer), Ann (wife, 49), Joseph (son, 15, gardeners son), Nancy (daughter, 13), Amos (son, 11), Michael (son, 8), Susan (daughter, 6), Sophia (daughter, 4) and Hannah (daughter, 8 months). 1861 census: in Lingwell Gate, Stanley cum Wrenthorpe, Yorkshire (all BRAMLEY, all born in Stanley, Yorkshire), Thomas (head, 58, ag labourer), Ann (wife, 60), Joseph (son, 25, ag lab), Michael (son, 18, ag lab), Susan (daughter, 16) and Hannah (daughter, 10).
