Both born in Barnsley. George appears to have died in Q4 1869 and Ellen to have married George SPEAR in Q1 1871.

  	Married after banns. George Ellisson, full age, bachelor, weaver of Barnsley, father William Ellisson, weaver. Ellen Daniel, full age, spinster of Barnsley, father John Daniel, weaver. George appears to have signed (although the writing is the same as elsewhere in the register entry), Ellen marked. Witnesses were Thomas Ellisson and Samuel Bradley: the hand of Thomas is again the same as used elsewhere in the register entry, but 'Samuel Bradley' seems to have been written by someone else. The name ELLISON appears throughout (four times) as ELLISSON but if it was at each place written by the same person, the mistake, if it was one, was consistent.
