  Notes	Trevor Cox writes: Hilda was in domestic service from an early age in Canterbury and Sandwich, Kent. She was in service up to marriage to Walter. When Walter died Hilda went to live with her brother Louis BAILEY and then with Jack BAILEY. When Evelyn Minter's husband died in 1963, Hilda went to live with her until her death in 1976. Hilda had cataracts removed from both eyes and on the day she had her operation the surgeon told Hilda of the death of Walter; she eventually became totally blind. Died whilst living with daughter at 175 Bournemouth Park Road, Southend on Sea, Essex.
