  Notes	Note supplied by Cliff Minter, October 2007: Owner of houses at Wingham in 1790. Buried at age 64. February 2010: Research by Cliff Minter suggests that: - John Rigden's parents were probably George and Mary Rigden; - George and Mary probably married at Adisham, Kent on 3 January 1754, Mary being Mary BANKS; - John Rigden was probably baptised on 2 March 1758 at Coldred, Kent; - a sister to John, Sarah, was probably baptised at Coldren, Kent on 13 November 1755; - Mary Rigden is probably she who is described on a tombstone at Shepherdswell, Kent as follows: Here lieth the body of Mary wife of George Rigden died 24 September 1761 age 33 left issue John Sarah (the next headstone is for George Rigden of Littlebourne).
