  Notes	From findagrave.com: Mrs. Minter was born in Cascade, Va. on Feb. 17, 1918, a daughter of Eli and Elizabeth Thornton Allen, both deceased. She was a homemaker. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She enjoyed working outside with her flowers, taking trips, shopping, taking care of her special buddy "Bandit" and most of all spending time with her family. She was a very special person that always offered kind encouraging words and a helping hand. She will forever live in our hearts. She is survived by her son, Wayne Minter of the home; her daughter, Faye Hill and husband Russell of Eden; sisters, Ola "Tootsie" Lawson of Eden, and Jessie Nelson of High Point; her brother, Theo Allen of Ridgeway, Va. and her brother-in-law, Jack Minter of Roanoke, VA; her grandchildren, Mark Minter of Roanoke, David Minter of Hardy, Va., Donna Wallace of Rocky Mount, Va., and Jan Travis of Eden; and her great grandchildren, Cody, Jackson, Megan, Katherine and Will. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Robert H. Minter.
