March 2012: email contact from Debbie Minter Enstedt in Canada. I found a Public Member Tree at ancestry owned by Denstedt1, who is surely Debbie. This tree shows Harry marrying and having one child, Ronald Harrison Minter, who married and had 4 children whose names are shown in Debbie's tree as Private. December 2019: Further information found and incorporated into Harry Minter's family, including his wife and children. I haven't found Harry in the 1916 Census of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta, but his wife to be Catherine BONSEY, was living with her parents and brother in Moreton Ave, East Kildonan. Harry was probably in Europe with the Canadian forces. 1921 Census of Canada: in Manitoba, District No 37 Springfield, Municipality of East Kildonan, at 820 Moreton Ave, East KIldonan (all MINTER), Harry (head, 29, born England, immigrated 1913, painter), Aubrey (wife, 23, born England, immigrated 1912) and Sidney (son, 4 months, born Manitoba). On the same page, at number 829 Moreton Ave, are Catherine's parents Benjamin (54) and Catherine (51) BONSEY. Dominion Bureau of Statistics - census of Manitoba, Sakatchewan and Manitoba, June 1 1926. Province Manitoba, Electoral District 12 Springfield, Municipality of East Kildonan. At 820 Government Street, East Kildonan (all MINTER), Harry (head, 34, born England, immigrated in 1913), Catherine Aubrey (wife, 28, born England, immigrated in 1912), Sydney Aubrey (son, 5, born Manitoba), Clifford Rex (son, 2, born Manitoba) Harry (a painter) and Catherine appeared on Voters Lists in Springfield, Manitoba until at least 1949, still living at 820 Government Street.
