  Notes	Florence Wilkie, nee Minter (one of Richard's daughters) writes in September 2006: My father Richard Minter left England on the ship 'Oroya' 1908 serving as a baker, arriving in Brisbane 19 October 1908. He then probably joined crew on tourist ship TSS 'Canberra'. Richard probably sailed on the 'Canberra' till he purchased a bakery buisness in Southport, Queensland in 1919. Sold Southport then bought bakery in Boonah 1921. Took family to England 1924 for 6 months *. Harley Street specialist warned Richard not to work in bake house which he did on return to Australia. He died 13 March 1925.
