  Notes	It's not certain that the William who married Sarah Ann ABIGAIL in 1834 was Robert and Lydia's son but is being treated as such for the time being. 1841 census: in Bear's Grove, Salhouse, Norfolk, William (25+/-, ag lab), Sarah (25+/-), Ann (3) and William (1). 1851 census: (indexed under WINTER and recorded as such): in St Paul, Norwich, Elizabeth REYNOLDS (head, widow, 62, born Neatishead, Norfolk), Sarah Ann WINTER ('mother', widow, 36), Sarah HALESWORTH (15, nursechild, dumb), Ann WINTER (daughter, 13), Eliza WINTER (daughter, 6) and Edward WINTER (son, 1). The births of Eliza and Edward do not appear to have been registered and they do not appear under MINTER in the Rackheath Parish Register. They were born after William Minter died in 1844. 1861 census (indexed under MINTLER): at Infirmary Road, St Clements, Norwich, Sarah Ann (46), widow, washwoman, Ann (23), factory girl, Samuel (21), shoemaker, William (19), shoemaker, Eliza (14), factory girl and Edward (11), errand boy. 1871 census: at Waterloo, St Clements, Sarah (56), widow, charwoman, Edward (21), farm labourer. Sarah re-married in 1872. William and Sarah Ann's first three children were all baptised on the same day, 26 September 1841. Their surname is spelled MINTTER in the baptismal register. William and Ann are shown as 'of Salhouse'; William (father) as a labourer.
