| Notes |
- Ancestry.com.au - UK Incoming Passenger Lists, 1878-1960 has the following:
Arriving in Southampton on 28 September 1956 on the Seven Seas from Montreal, Canada, Percival Minter, dob 27 Dec 1919 proposed address 4 Park View, Barnes, SW 13, married, shipping clerk.
By the time of the above arrival in England, it would seem that Percival (and presumably his family) had emigrated to Canada: on the 1956 arrival record both 'country of last permanent residence' and 'country of inteded future permanent residence' are given as Canada. The purpose of the visit was 'Holiday, Leave, Tourism, Family etc'.
Possibly died in Canada - findagrave.com has a picture of a tombstone which bears a plate engraved "Percival C Minter (Tim) 1919 - 1994). There are other plates fixed to the same tombstone (some only half in view) but none mentions Minter. The tombstone is in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto.
