  Notes	Copied from findagrave.com: Nora Barrow Minter, 94, of Barrows Mill Road, Martinsville, died Oct. 18, 2004, at Stanleytown Healthcare Center. She was born on Dec. 29, 1909, to Ruth Anna Wade Barrow and Tommy Joe Barrow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Cole Minter; three sisters, Eunice Wall, Lona Wall and Frances Davis; two brothers, Bill Barrow and Luray Barrow; and a great-grandchild. She operated B.C. Minter Grocery Store for many years and was a longtime member of Fairview Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, James L. Minter of Martinsville; three daughters, Mary Louise Dillon of Martinsville, and Janet G. Gammons and Ruth M. Brown, both of Collinsville; a sister, Lucy Treherne of Martinsville; two brothers, Ed Barrow of Collinsville and Maylon Barrow of Richmond; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jyrone Denny officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park. Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church, 663 Barrows Mill Road, Martinsville, Va. 24112, the American Heart Association, Mark Ivey Jr., Memorial Gift Chairman, P.O. Box 524, Martinsville, Va. 24114, or a charity of the donor's choice.
