  Notes	David Albert's baptsim is also recorded at the Ebenezer Independent Baptist Chapel, Ramsgate. 1901 census: at 16 Robert Street, Gravesend, Kent, David (24, stevedore), Minnie (22), Reuben (2) and Leonard (1). David's birthplace is wronly shown as Gravesend. Of the children listed as David's and Minnie's, Reuben, Leonard, George and Mary are definite, the first two from the 1901 census, the last two from the fact that their mother's maiden name appears on the BMD index. The others, Archie, David Lewis, Doreen Esther and Richard are included as probably belonging to David and Minnie because their births were registered in Gravesend and no other couple seemed to be producing children at that place in that time. Birth certificates and the 1911 census would prove the supposition (May 2009 - see below). One of the witnesses at David Edmund Minter's wedding was Richard Minter, probably the groom's brother. 1911 census: in Queen Street, Gravesend (5 rooms), David (head, 38, married, dock labourer, born Ramsgate, Kent), Minnie (wife, 32, married 13 years, 6 children, 5 living, 1 died, born Iwade, Kent), Leonard (son, 11, school, born Gravesend, Kent), David (son, 9, school, born Gravesend, Kent), Doreen (daughter, 6, school, born Gravesend, Kent), Archie (son, 4, born R---ville, Kent) and Richard (son, 1, born Gravesend, Kent). This confirms the list of children suggested above.
