  Notes	A number of announcements appeared in the Western Australian and The Advertiser in connection with Sarah Jane's) death: 1. On 4 Sep 1949 at Kalgoorlie, result of accident, Jane widow of the late William Henry Minter beloved daughter of the late William and Mary Choules, loved sister of Ellen (Sister E Johns), Ade (Mrs McCulloch), Lee (Mrs Hussey), Carrie (Mrs Keddie), Mina (Mrs F Wark), Nance (Mrs J Underwood). 2. On September 4 at Kalgoorlie, Jane, dearly loved sister of Lee (Mrs Hussey), loved aunt of Rene (Mrs Vincent) and Edna (Mrs B Brooks). 3. In loving memory of Aunty Jane who passed away at Kalgoorlie September 4 1949, dear friend of Mrs Hall, Ivy and Faye. 4. On September 6, in hospital, W Aus., Jane Minter, late of Adelaide, result of car accident, aged 74. Deeply mourned by relatives and friends. There is a discrepancy in the dates of death noted above. I've adopted the date shown on Sarah's headstone, per the Australian Cemeteries Index.
