Also David NUNN (nephew, unmarried, 17, agr. labourer, born Wortham). 1861 census: at Ling Common, Wortham, Suffolk (all AYTON, born Wortham), Thomas (head, 46, farm labourer), Elenor (wife, 35, labrs wife), Mary Ann (daughter, 12), John (son, 9, scholar), Elizabeth (daughter, 7, scholar), Charles (son, 4) and Thomas (son, 2). Also David NUNN (nephew, unmarried, 28, farm labourer, born Wortham). 1871 census: at Willow Corner, Wortham (all AYTON, born Wortham), Thomas (head, 57, agr labourer), Eleanor (wife, 43, labourers wife), Charles (son, 14), Thomas (son, 12), Sophia (daughter, 9), Sarah A (daughter, 5) and Laura E (daughter, 9 months). Also Sarah A MINTER (niece, 1, born Brompton, London). This child was probably the daughter of Eleanor's sister Emma Jane - see her Notes. 1881 census: in Church Road, Wortham (all AYTON, born Wortham), Eleanor (head, married, 53), Charles (son, 24, bricklayers labourer), Thomas (son, 22, bricklayers labourer) and Laura E (daughter, 10). Also Lydia MINTER (mother, widow, 79, born Yaxley, Suffolk. Thomas AYTON not found - his death was registered in Q1 1882. 1891 census: at Long Green (Willow Corner), Wortham (both AYTON, born Wortham), Eleanor (head, widow, 63) and Charles (son, 34, bricklayers labourer). 1901 census: in Church Road, Wortham (both AYTON, born Wortham), Charles (head, single, 44, bricklayers labourer) and Eleanor (mother, widow, 73). Eleanor died before the 1911 census.
