No trace of Louisa. Ellen (as Nelly C), 14, was a domestic servant at a school in Dover Road, Walmer. Appeared in the Deal, Walmer & Sandwich Directory, 1898 as Joseph Minter, 5 Belmont Place, Upper Walmer. 1901 census: at 5 Oakley Terrace, Gt Mongeham, Kent, Joseph (51, plasterer), Mary J (51), Eliza E (15) and Frederick G (12, school). William J. MARSH, 20, nephew, a carpenter born Folkestone, was staying with Joseph and Mary. Son William J was a sapper in the Royal Engineers. No trace of Ellen or Emily. 1911 census (1): at 5 Court Road, Upper Walmer, Kent (5 rooms), Joseph (head, 69, married, [38 years, 7 children 6 living 1 died - crossed out], plasterer, builder, worker, born Walmer, Kent), Frederick Minter (son, 22, single, grocer assistant, worker, born Walmer, Kent) and a visitor, Alfred Floyd (36, single, Houghton(?) Police, born Walmer). Form signed Joseph Minter. 1911 census (2): at 4 Hamilton Terrace, Cemetery Road, Deal, Kent (5 rooms), Robert MORLEY (head, 35, married, Royal Marine L I, sergeant, born East Kirkby, Lincolnshire), Florence MORLEY (wife, 27, married 7 years, 2 children, both living, born Kennington, London) Robt. A J MORLEY (son, 6, born Walmer, Kent), an unnamed son age less than 1 month, born Deal, Kent and Mary MINTER (visitor, 61, married 38 years, 7 children, 6 living, 1 died, born Deal, Kent). Form signed R Morley.
