    • Frederick was killed in action on 23 March 1916 whilst serving as a Private (number 1465) in the 4th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission website shows that he is remembered on the Loos Memorial, Panel 37 and 38.
      A transcript of the details of Frederick's death at findmypast.co.uk shows his birthplace as Bromeswell, Suffolk which is a couple of miles east of Woodbridge.
