  Notes	From findagrave.com: Kernersville - Gary V. Wilson, 69, went home to be with his Lord July 9, 2010. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 11:00AM Monday, July 12, 2010 at Pisgah United Methodist Church with Rev. Harry Sammons officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A lifelong native of Forsyth County, he was the son of the late Treva Evelyn Elliott and Horace Venson Wilson. Gary graduated from Walkertown High School Class of 1959 and served with the Winston-Salem Fire Department for ten years. He also was a volunteer with Talley's Crossing Fire Department in Kernersville. Gary was the owner of Wilson Tire for 45 years, moving to his present location in 1988 where his beloved Down Home Country Bluegrass Band would perform every Friday night for a gathering of his many friends. He was a former trustee of the church, and past president of the United Methodist Men. He also served the church as a sound engineer. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by a brother Ted "Teddy" Wilson. Survivors include his loving wife Mary Kathryn Minter Wilson of the home; sons Dale Wilson and Ann, and Doug Wilson and Missy all of Kernersville; grandchildren Brent, Haylee, Morgan, Karlee, Kaytee, and Cody. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Sunday evening at Pisgah United Methodist Church, 2165 Pisgah Church Road in Kernersville. Memorials are asked to be directed to Pisgah United Methodist Church.
